School Uniform

The Freyberg school uniform is attractive and we like to see students take pride in their appearance. Our uniform identifies the wearer with the school and we encourage our students to always look well presented.

We are very conscious of the cost of education and have endeavoured to keep expenditure to a minimum. In order to do that we stock the Girls' and Boys' uniform in the school (Uniform can only be purchased from the school).

Boys Uniform

Shirt	Navy polo shirt sleeved with 2 gold trim on collar
Shorts/Longs	Regulation grey shorts or grey longs
Socks	Grey long socks with gold and blue trim, or plain grey socks with longs
Jersey	Regulation navy jersey with school crest
Shoes	Black leather shoes with or without laces or in summer black Roman Sandals with a back strap
Jacket	Regulation navy school jacket
Polar Fleece	Regulation navy polar fleece with school crest

Girls Uniform

Shirt	White polo with blue and gold trim on collar (short sleeved)
Skirt	Regulation navy skirt
Socks	White ankle socks or natural, plain, navy or black stockings
Jersey	Regulation navy jersey
Shoes	Black leather lace-up school shoes with a strap or black Roman Sandals
Jacket	Regulation navy school jacket
Polar Fleece	Regulation navy polar fleece with school crest

Physical Education

Shirt	Gold polo top
Shorts	Blue shorts
Shoes	Sports shoes

Other

Hats Plain black or navy blue cap, or Regulation school beanie may be worn outside the buildings. Makeup No Makeup or nail polish to be worn Scarf Freyberg Scarf may be worn, but not in class Jewellery No jewellery other than a wrist watch and a pair of stud or sleeper earrings may be worn at school. Nose, tongue or other facial studs, are not acceptable. Hair Extremes of style and/or colour are not acceptable

Year 12 and 13 Mufti requirements

All students in Year 12 and 13 must wear a reasonable standard of dress, or they will be sent home to get changed. There must be:

•  No torn clothing
• No offensive slogans
• No singlets
• No beachwear (including jandals)
• No facial piercings
• No Hats
• Hoodies are ok, but hoods must be worn down at all times
• Girls must not wear low cut tops that show their cleavage or tops that show their midriff
