Head Students and Student Leaders

In the spirit of developing leaders and role-models amongst the school and wider community, student leaders are trained and given opportunities and school responsibilities. We're proud of our 2010 student leaders and their achievements.

Head Students 2010

	Hilary Ngan Kee Head Girl Who inspires you: Max from Where the Wild Things are. He conquered the wild things while wearing a onesie!		Daniel Palfreyman Head Boy Who would you invite to dinner and why: Lance Armstrong - he had cancer and almost died and then came back to win the prestigious tour de France.
	Tammy Beale Deputy Head Girl Who would you invite to dinner and why: Nelson Mandela - my hero, Barrack Obama - the first black president and My Mum.		Steven Greenblatt Deputy Head Boy Who inspires you: Wiley Coyote - he falls off cliffs, blows himself up, dying on a daily basis and anyone who can get up after that is pretty awesome.

Student Leaders 2010

	Matty McEwen Student Council President Who inspires you: Stacey Jones. He is one of the smallest, whitest, and greatest rugby league players to come out of New Zealand.		Evie Turner Student Council Vice President Who would you invite to dinner and why: Charles Darwin (for the love of biology) Rhys Darby and Steve Tolley - the most enthusiastic story teller I know. Who inspires you: Florence Nightingale.
	Luke Utikere B.O.T Representative Who inspires you: The Legend - My brother Tangi. He never gives up no matter the odds. He calls it how it is and holds his head up high. He always makes me laugh.
