From 10-13th May students from Year 13 Tourism had their field trip to Rotorua.
When the trip was planned last Term, the situation for travelling was not great but we persevered and had a wonderful time, managing to keep the students safe in accommodation with our own spaces and limiting interaction with other groups. Highlights include visiting Te Puia, preparing our own steamed hangi, the adventure of the Luge and Velocity Valley while preparing for futures post-Freyberg at the NZ School of Tourism campus. Anyhow, check out the pictures.
Thanks to Ms Clutterbuck and Mr Padega for coming along on the trip and the students who received positive feedback from companies for their great attitude and behaviour. Matt Farrelly (Year 13 Tourism TIC).
