Whole school assemblies at Freyberg are a valuable opportunity for us to come together, celebrate achievements, and reinforce our shared values. At our Term 2 assembly, we acknowledged the success of many of our ākonga in both sport and the performing arts.

Mr Williams spoke about the importance of making good choices and taking responsibility, while our Head Students – Raiha, Eden, and Hawi – shared a message about manaakitanga, highlighting the importance of showing kindness to yourself and to others.

We were also privileged to enjoy a special preview performance from the cast of Mary Poppins, featuring the full company. The cast, band, and crew have put in an enormous amount of mahi, talent, and passion into bringing this year’s musical to life. We’re excited to see the full production in Week 1 of next term – tickets are on sale now!
