Sports Room Notice
It has been fantastic to start seeing Sports, especially our students out and about in the community representing Freyberg!
Already we have seen lots of achievements, individually and as teams. Collectively we are really pushing to engage and increase participation in our school. Our Sports Council are working hard to offer activities in school that are suitable for all of our students with a focus on being active, and being together.
We are still dealing with Covid, as well as the Winter ills and chills which we have seen is hitting our rangatahi pretty hard! If your young person is playing sports, and you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us. Any reminders for us as a School, Coach Manager capacity to be vigilant and mindful of our tamariki and their return to play status is worth it.
As we now wind down towards the end of the term, a couple of reminders. During the July School Holidays there will be no Secondary School Competition Games. That is not to say that Coaches of different codes will not hold practices. So if your child is likely to be away please communicate this with their coach/managers as soon as possible! All the assistance we have is in a voluntary capacity so communication is key!
